For too long, stagnant wages, irregular work, and lack of opportunity have pushed families into insecurity and forced our youth to leave home. This mandate is a covenant with the people, to rebuild livelihoods, restore confidence, and make development work for the many, not the few.

Fast-track the Faridpur Economic Zone with utilities, access roads, and one-stop approvals

Target investment in agro-processing, textiles, light manufacturing, and local services, with local hiring requirements

Launch low-interest loans + mentoring for SMEs, shopkeepers, cottage industries, and local SMBs

Run a Worker Welfare + Skills Program for informal workers (training, savings groups, emergency support)

Modernize and revive jute and local industries through value-added support at all stages of the production life-cycle

Create a One-Stop Business Desk for permits, licensing, and compliance so entrepreneurs can start and expand faster

Build a Faridpur Producer & SME Cooperative & Digital Marketplace

Modernize haats and bazaars as commerce hubs

Launch Smart Agriculture hubs + Fair Price systems (machinery access, storage, cold chain)

Complete the Bhuiya Bari Ghat bridge with strict timelines and contractor accountability

Upgrade rural roads so farmers can move goods year-round, including monsoon season

Build cooperative selling + direct-to-buyer channels (including digital routes) to improve pricing power

Expand easy credit + crop insurance to protect farmers from floods, pests, and shocks

Start urgent Padma riverbank protection in high-risk erosion zone

Improve teaching quality via continuous teacher training + school accountability committees

Establish Greater Faridpur University

Infrastructure & Essential Services

Fully staff and equip hospitals/clinics (fill vacancies, fix/replace broken diagnostics, make ICU functional, etc)

Ensure doctor coverage at union health centers and basic diagnostics across facilities

Launch 'Clinic on Wheels' mobile health vans to chars/remote villages on a weekly schedule

Upgrade community clinics into Safe Delivery Centers with midwives and emergency readiness

Run maternal nutrition + antenatal checkups to reduce preventable complications

Introduce a Health Card

Upgrade Faridpur's main hospital to more beds with ICU, maternal/newborn ward, and dialysis capacity
